Ann Saladyga

Teacher, English

585-334-8010 x 320

Students experience a beautiful transformation at The Norman Howard School. They finally feel comfortable- a sense of belonging. This is a place where differences aren’t something to hide; a place where we are in this together.

Ms. Saladyga knew from childhood that she wanted to be an educator; playing “teacher” and instructing a horseshoe of stuffed animals. In college, she became a student teacher at The Norman Howard School, which led to the opportunity to become a teacher assistant as she finished graduate school. Once graduating she eagerly sought more responsibility and became a teacher for reading, writing, and English classes. She shares this Dr. Seuss quote when thinking of the school community, “We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

Outside of work, Ms. Saladyga enjoys spending time with family and friends (especially her dog), working out, reading, catching up on TV and movies, perfecting her cooking/baking skills, and trying new restaurants.
